We’ll go over the scope of work, quotation, and turnaround time. After our discussion, I’ll send you a quotation which will include the details of the project and the turnaround time.

2

Booking confirmation

If you would like to go ahead with the project following our discussion, I will send you a confirmation form for you to sign - the form includes the details of your work and the terms of service (which we would have already discussed prior to this).

3

The editing begins!

I will edit your work on your preferred file format - Google Docs, Microsoft Word, or Adobe Reader.

5

I'll share the edited document with you

I’ll share the edited document within the agreed upon time frame. Every document will come with tracked changes so you can see the revisions I’ve made to your work.

I offer up to two revisions for every project!

FAQs
  • How do I know if I need proofreading or copy editing?
    - Consider proofreading when you're ready to give your work a final check for errors before publishing. - Consider copy editing when you want to give your work a deeper check which involves, not only proofreading for errors, but also revisions that help improve the clarity and flow of your work.
  • How do you determine your fees?
I generally charge a project fee. I tailor my proofreading and copy editing fees to your project. We'll finalise the quote after discussing the scope of work, so that there is transparency about the pricing from the beginning. When calculating a quote, I take into account the following: The type of project and subject matter complexity (word count or page count) The length of work (word count) The level of editing required: proofreading or copy editing Requested deadline This allows for a fair and accurate estimate for each individual project.
  • Can you give me an estimate of the turnaround time for my project?
To give you the most accurate estimate of the expected turnaround time, it would be helpful to get the following details about your project: The type of work and content matter Word count Your desired deadline The level of editing you require (proofreading or copy editing). Please contact me if you're unsure of the level of editing you require, so that we can discuss what would be best suitable for your project!
  • Can you provide faster turnaround times for urgent projects?
If the work can be edited at a faster time without sacrificing quality, then it might be possible to edit it at a faster rate for an additional fee depending on the requested deadline. However, I never sacrifice quality for any project, so please do get in touch with me so we can first clarify the scope of work and requested deadline!
  • Do you offer a bundle packages?
Yes! A bundle package involves editing multiple projects over the course of a specific time frame. An example could be to publish the following in the next four months: Website Copy Two Reports Five Blog Posts Three Emails If you’re interested in this type of package, please get in touch with me and we’ll discuss the details.
